In Wired Magazine's Danger Room, Noah Shachtman and Spencer Ackerman pander to left wingers who passionately hate those who tell the truth about Islam. The pandering takes the form of a provocative headline followed by a slide show containing images from Lt. Col. Matthew A. Dooley's classroom presentation.
The first slide consists of a headline and five bullet points, one of which I could easily go negative on but I am aware that the slide is an outline, which refers to other course materials not presently in view, so I will reserve judgment. The first point declares that parts of the strategy will be considered politically incorrect, an obvious understatement. In war, the emphasis must be on militarily correct strategy & tactics, not on maintaining a PC image. The second point informs us that the fourth Geneva Convention rules are not applicable to terrorism and hints at a "Phase III" which includes the destruction of Islam's "holy" cities. The historical precedents listed will be interpreted as suggesting the use of nuclear weapons to destroy Mecca & Medina. The third point rules out deterrence. Islamic jihad can not be deterred, it can only be delayed. Our strategists need to wrap their minds around the Qur'an's Surah Al-Anfal and consider it as a whole with emphasis on 8:38, 60 & 65. Deterrence does not apply to Islam because Muslims believe in Allah, his threat & promise. Brig. S.K. Malik explained this in page 60 of The Qur'anic Concept of War : Islam makes Muslims immune to terror, hence to deterrence. The fourth point reiterates the inapplicability of the Geneva Conventions to terrorists. The fifth point asks whether the conventions should be reconsidered to disqualify non state actors. That image is one of 28 pages in a pdf document which I would be inclined to describe as a course outline. The authors claim to have obtained "hundreds of pages of course material and reference documents ". So, how do they classify the course?

It appears that Noah Shachtman and Spencer Ackerman confuse truth and hate. Strip out the political correctness, confusion & cognitive dissonance from the course, and what remains is a mixture of objective factual reality and strategic analysis. The authors do not see the course in the cold light of reality, they view it in the darkness of propaganda. Examine this exemplary paragraph. [Emphasis & links origtinal.]
For the better part of the last decade,a small cabal of self-anointed counterterrorism expertshas been working its way through the U.S. military, intelligence and law enforcement communities, trying to convince whoever it could thatAmerica’s real terrorist enemy wasn’t al-Qaida— but the Islamic faith itself. In his course, Dooley brought in these anti-Muslim demagogues as guest lecturers. And he took their argument to its final, ugly conclusion.
"Cabal", "self-anointed", "demagogues": when you can not refute the message: attack the messenger. Where were OBL & Al-Qaeda in the Barbary Wars? Who attacked our shipping and why? Look it up at Wikipedia if you don't know. Ambassadors Jefferson & Adams asked Tripoli's Ambassador to London and were told that the 'right' to sack our shipping was established in Islamic law. The concluding paragraphs of the first article in the series bring out some quotes which bring up important concepts and expose shallow research, shallow thinking or cognitive dissonance.

Islam is a barbaric way of life: intra-species predation, not an ideology. It is intolerable and should never be tolerated and there is no possibility of reforming it. Perfection can not be improved, it can only be defiled: "This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islâm as your religion."[5:3] What Allah has perfected,. Muslims can not improve, neither can kuffar.
The Qur'anic enjunctions to wage perpetual war [8:39, 9:29 & 9:123] can not be excised nor amended because Allah's word is immutable: "No change can there be in the Words of Allâh, this is indeed the supreme success. "[10:64] , "No change let there be in Khalqillâh (i.e. the Religion of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), " [30:30], " None can change His Words." [6:115], "None can change His Words" [18:27] What part of "no change" & "none can change" does Dooley not comprehend? Those instructing our officers should become familiar with the subject before they start lecturing.

Islam is cultic, its founder arranged marriages, married a juvenile, lusted after an infant and made himself the final arbiter in all matters spiritual & temporal. We need to quit describing and recognizing Islam as a religion. It is a way of life with a contrived religious component which motivates its fighting forces and camouflages its predatory nature. Cutting off Saudi Arabia's cash flow is not practical. There is no real support for a boycott of Saudi oil.

While there is Islam, there will be war. Islam must be completely eradicated, there is no other solution.
Defeating Islam militarily will require nuking major Muslim population concentrations; killing Mullahs, Imams & Mufties, bombing & strafing their funeral processions in mixed population areas. Who is willing to wage total and exterminating war? Islam is, Western Civilization is not. Our cause is lost. In the second page of their screed, Shachtman & ackerman lead off by showing their true colors.
Dooley’s ideological allies have repeatedly stated that “mainstream” Muslims are dangerous, because they’re “violent” by nature. Yet only a few of al-Qaida’s most twisted fanatics were ever caught musing about wiping out entire cities.
That treacherous calumny depicts the defender as worse than the attacker and is obviously false. The President of Iran openly dreams of a "world without America". The attacks on the World Trade Center were intended to destroy our economy. Both Al-Qaeda and Iran seek nuclear weapons, exactly what would they be used for if not to destroy cities?
Muslims are dangerous, posing a real, proximate & persistent existential threat to civilization because of the intrinsic doctrines enshrined in the Qur'an and exemplified by the hadith.. "Jihad is ordained for you" [2:216] "Fight them until" [8:39] "Fight those who... until" [9:29] . But Moe said something that proves their maundery to be malignant: "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' " [Sahih Bukhari 1.8.387]. Hedaya, the Hanifi school's code, tells us that "War must be carried on against the infidels, at all times, by some party of the Muslims.". "The destruction of the sword is incurred by infidels although they be not the first aggressors". [Vol. II, Bk. IX, Ch1].

It is obvious that General Dempsey and the authors view the content of the course as politically incorrect.

There is something Western Civilization can do, but it is unconventional and would require a great deal of investment and time. Islam can be significantly weakened by inducing mass apostasy among the Ummah. Plant the seeds of doubt & introspection, set the Ummah questioning; induce them to read Islam's canon of scripture, tradition, exegesis & jurisprudence. Make them think rationally about what they believe and the practical realities of its implementation.
Show the Ummah how Moe plagiarized the Bible & Apocrypha. Show them how he 'revealed' situational scripture to give 'divine' sanction to his lusts. Prove to them that Allah is an impotent idol whose threat & promise are vain. Begin with production & mass distribution of a full length feature documentary on the life of Moe, based on the Sira & authentic hadith. At least two scripts are ready for production. Get it done, translated into Arabic, Urdu & Farsi and distribute it world wide by satellite broadcast & dvd. Since much of the Ummah is illiterate, it is necessary to distribute the Qur'an & hadith in audio format and multiple languages. Instead of presenting facts and logical arguments, the authors engage in argumentum ad hominem.

Prayer has always been a part of the American story, and today countless Americans rely on prayer for comfort, direction, and strength, praying not only for themselves, but for their communities, their country, and the world.
On this National Day of Prayer, we give thanks for our democracy that respects the beliefs and protects the religious freedom of all people to pray, worship, or abstain according to the dictates of their conscience. Let us pray for all the citizens of our great Nation, particularly those who are sick, mourning, or without hope, and ask God for the sustenance to meet the challenges we face as a Nation. May we embrace the responsibility we have to each other, and rely on the better angels of our nature in service to one another. Let us be humble in our convictions, and courageous in our virtue. Let us pray for those who are suffering around the world, and let us be open to opportunities to ease that suffering.
Let us also pay tribute to the men and women of our Armed Forces who have answered our country's call to serve with honor in the pursuit of peace. Our grateful Nation is humbled by the sacrifices made to protect and defend our security and freedom. Let us pray for the continued strength and safety of our service members and their families. While we pause to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending liberty, let us remember and lend our voices to the principles for which they fought-- unity, human dignity, and the pursuit of justice.

If we had patriotic Presidents instead of traitors, the war would be fought to terminate threat & aggression against America and to prevent their repetition. The Second Barbary War was necessary because the lesson taught by the First Barbary war was not sufficiently instilled & reinforced. The pirates regrouped, re-armed and renewed their attacks. Muslims renewed their attacks in modern times because we have demonstrated weakness and lack of resolve in Korea, Vietnam & Somalia.
I searched the Declaration for the three phrases listed by Obamination, but did not find them there. The founders realized & seized for us the right to live free and unmolested, subject neither to attack nor threat. Islam has another idea, clearly expressed by the Dey of Algiers to J.Q. Adams & T. Jefferson who asked him by what right the Barbary Pirates sacked our merchantmen.

When caliph Umar sent the Muslim army to Persia centuries before the Barbary Wars, his General explained his mission to a Persian General in similar terms.
Our Prophet, the Messenger of our Lord, has ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah Alone or give Jizya (i.e. tribute); and our Prophet has informed us that our Lord says:-- "Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e. martyred), shall go to Paradise to lead such a luxurious life as he has never seen, and whoever amongst us remain alive, shall become your master." 8:1. They ask you (O Muhammad ) about the spoils of war. Say: "The spoils are for Allâh and the Messenger." So fear Allâh and adjust all matters of difference among you, and obey Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ), if you are believers.

Sahih Bukhari Ch 61 # 2756: [Aisha Bewley] ...It is mentioned from Ibn 'Umar from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "My provision has been placed under the shadow of my spear, and abasement and humility have been placed on the one who disobeys my command.

Sahih Muslim Book 019, Number 4327: The spoils of war were not made lawful for any people before us, This is because Allah saw our weakness and humility and made them lawful for us.

Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islâm), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allâh to continue in carrying out Jihâd against the disbelievers till they embrace Islâm (i.e. are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire) or at least come under your protection], but if it had been Allâh's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). And fight them untilthere is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.
9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allâh is with those who are the Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2).
3:151. We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allâh, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers).
8:12. (Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, "Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes."
If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.

Remarks by President Obama in Address to the Nation from Afghanistan

4:01 A.M. AFT THE PRESIDENT: Good evening from Bagram Air Base. This outpost is more than 7,000 miles from home, but for over a decade it's been close to our hearts. Because here, in Afghanistan, more than half a million of our sons and daughters have sacrificed to protect our country. Today, I signed a historic agreement between the United States and Afghanistan that defines a new kind of relationship between our countries -- a future in which Afghans are responsible for the security of their nation, and we build an equal partnership between two sovereign states; a future in which war ends, and a new chapter begins. Tonight, I'd like to speak to you about this transition. But first, let us remember why we came here. It was here, in Afghanistan, where Osama bin Laden established a safe haven for his terrorist organization. It was here, in Afghanistan, where al Qaeda brought new recruits, trained them, and plotted acts of terror. It was here, from within these borders, that al Qaeda launched the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 innocent men, women and children. And so, 10 years ago, the United States and our allies went to war to make sure that al Qaeda could never again use this country to launch attacks against us. Despite initial success, for a number of reasons, this war has taken longer than most anticipated. In 2002, bin Laden and his lieutenants escaped across the border and established safe haven in Pakistan. America spent nearly eight years fighting a different war in Iraq. And al Qaeda’s extremist allies within the Taliban have waged a brutal insurgency. But over the last three years, the tide has turned. We broke the Taliban’s momentum. We’ve built strong Afghan security forces. We devastated al Qaeda’s leadership, taking out over 20 of their top 30 leaders. And one year ago, from a base here in Afghanistan, our troops launched the operation that killed Osama bin Laden. The goal that I set -- to defeat al Qaeda and deny it a chance to rebuild -- is now within our reach. Still, there will be difficult days ahead. The enormous sacrifices of our men and women are not over. But tonight, I’d like to tell you how we will complete our mission and end the war in Afghanistan. First, we've begun a transition to Afghan responsibility for security. Already, nearly half of the Afghan people live in places where Afghan security forces are moving into the lead. This month, at a NATO Summit in Chicago, our coalition will set a goal for Afghan forces to be in the lead for combat operations across the country next year. International troops will continue to train, advise and assist the Afghans, and fight alongside them when needed. But we will shift into a support role as Afghans step forward. As we do, our troops will be coming home. Last year, we removed 10,000 U.S. troops from Afghanistan. Another 23,000 will leave by the end of the summer. After that, reductions will continue at a steady pace, with more and more of our troops coming home. And as our coalition agreed, by the end of 2014 the Afghans will be fully responsible for the security of their country. Second, we are training Afghan security forces to get the job done. Those forces have surged, and will peak at 352,000 this year. The Afghans will sustain that level for three years, and then reduce the size of their military. And in Chicago, we will endorse a proposal to support a strong and sustainable long-term Afghan force. Third, we’re building an enduring partnership. The agreement we signed today sends a clear message to the Afghan people: As you stand up, you will not stand alone. It establishes the basis for our cooperation over the next decade, including shared commitments to combat terrorism and strengthen democratic institutions. It supports Afghan efforts to advance development and dignity for their people. And it includes Afghan commitments to transparency and accountability, and to protect the human rights of all Afghans -- men and women, boys and girls. Within this framework, we’ll work with the Afghans to determine what support they need to accomplish two narrow security missions beyond 2014 -- counter-terrorism and continued training. But we will not build permanent bases in this country, nor will we be patrolling its cities and mountains. That will be the job of the Afghan people. Fourth, we’re pursuing a negotiated peace. In coordination with the Afghan government, my administration has been in direct discussions with the Taliban. We’ve made it clear that they can be a part of this future if they break with al Qaeda, renounce violence and abide by Afghan laws. Many members of the Taliban -- from foot soldiers to leaders -- have indicated an interest in reconciliation. The path to peace is now set before them. Those who refuse to walk it will face strong Afghan security forces, backed by the United States and our allies. Fifth, we are building a global consensus to support peace and stability in South Asia. In Chicago, the international community will express support for this plan and for Afghanistan’s future. And I have made it clear to its neighbor -- Pakistan -- that it can and should be an equal partner in this process in a way that respects Pakistan’s sovereignty, interests and democratic institutions. In pursuit of a durable peace, America has no designs beyond an end to al Qaeda safe havens and respect for Afghan sovereignty. As we move forward, some people will ask why we need a firm timeline. The answer is clear: Our goal is not to build a country in America’s image, or to eradicate every vestige of the Taliban. These objectives would require many more years, many more dollars, and most importantly, many more American lives. Our goal is to destroy al Qaeda, and we are on a path to do exactly that. Afghans want to assert their sovereignty and build a lasting peace. That requires a clear timeline to wind down the war. Others will ask, why don’t we leave immediately? That answer is also clear: We must give Afghanistan the opportunity to stabilize. Otherwise, our gains could be lost and al Qaeda could establish itself once more. And as Commander-in-Chief, I refuse to let that happen. I recognize that many Americans are tired of war. As President, nothing is more wrenching than signing a letter to a family of the fallen, or looking into the eyes of a child who will grow up without a mother or father. I will not keep Americans in harm’s way a single day longer than is absolutely required for our national security. But we must finish the job we started in Afghanistan and end this war responsibly. My fellow Americans, we’ve travelled through more than a decade under the dark cloud of war. Yet here, in the pre-dawn darkness of Afghanistan, we can see the light of a new day on the horizon. The Iraq war is over. The number of our troops in harm’s way has been cut in half, and more will soon be coming home. We have a clear path to fulfill our mission in Afghanistan, while delivering justice to al Qaeda. This future is only within reach because of our men and women in uniform. Time and again, they have answered the call to serve in distant and dangerous places. In an age when so many institutions have come up short, these Americans stood tall. They met their responsibilities to one another, and to the flag they serve under. I just met with some of them and told them that as Commander-in-Chief, I could not be prouder. And in their faces, we see what is best in ourselves and our country. Our soldiers, our sailors, our airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen and civilians in Afghanistan have done their duty. Now we must summon that same sense of common purpose. We must give our veterans and military families the support they deserve, and the opportunities they have earned. And we must redouble our efforts to build a nation worthy of their sacrifice. As we emerge from a decade of conflict abroad and economic crisis at home, it’s time to renew America -- an America where our children live free from fear and have the skills to claim their dreams. A united America of grit and resilience, where sunlight glistens off soaring new towers in downtown Manhattan, and we build our future as one people, as one nation. Here in Afghanistan, Americans answered the call to defend their fellow citizens and uphold human dignity. Today, we recall the fallen and those who suffered wounds, both seen and unseen. The safety and welfare of our troops in Afghanistan and elsewhere are the responsibility of the Pentagon, not Pastor Jones. Terror struck into the hearts of the enemies is not only a means, it is the end in itself. Once a condition of terror into the opponent's heart is obtained, hardly anything is left to be achieved. It is the point where the means and the end meet and merge. Terror is not a means of imposing decision upon the enemy; it is me decision we wish to impose upon him.

Terror cannot be struck into the hearts of an army by merely cutting its lines of communication or depriving it of its routes of withdrawal. It is basically related to the strength or weakness of the human soul. It can be instilled only if the opponent's Faith is destroyed. Psychological dislocation is temporary; spiritual dislocation is permanent. Psychological dislocation can be produced by a physical act but this does not hold good of the spiritual dislocation. To instill terror into the hearts of the enemy, it is essential. in the ultimate analysis, to dislocate his Faith. An invincible Faith is immune to terror. A weak Faith offers inroads to terror. The Faith conferred upon us by the Holy Qur'an has the inherent strength to ward off terror from us and to enable us to strike terror into the enemy. Whatever the form or type of strategy directed against the enemy, it must, in order to be effective, be capable of striking terror into the hearts of the enemy. A strategy that fails to attain this condition suffers from inherent drawbacks and weaknesses; and should be reviewed and modified. This rule is fully applicable to nuclear as well as conventional wars. It is equally true of the strategy of nuclear deterrence in fashion today. To be credible and effective, the strategy of deterrence must be capable of striking terror into the hearts of the enemy.
Believers are Allah's slaves, who kill others and are killed. Believers are only those who fight in Allah's cause, which is to make Islam dominant. Go to Jihad or go to Hell. Pastor Terry Jones walked into the liar's den about a year ago and submitted to a spew of lies, distortions & insults. The adversaries spew great volumes of malignant malarkey, Pastor Jones gets little chance to refute the multitudinous lies. We are going to continue to try to raise awareness here in America and around the world. Moslem leaders here in America have spoken out; said that they would like to have Shari'ah be a governing force in certain domestic issues, then our message is to them that they are not welcome. If they have come here as I say, to honor and obey; submit to the Constitution of the United States, then that is fine. We are just concerned about that radical element: we are concerned about jihad and we are concerned about Shari'ah.
Imam Al-Qazwini, you lead the largest mosque in North America; what do you want Terry Jones to know about Islam?
Well, what I actually mean--I'm talking about any form of government; whether it be Shari'ah, my knowledge of that is of course somewhat limited, but I realize that it is a very brutal form of punishment. It involves stoning, it involves other very cruel forms of punishment But it not only has to do with Shari'ah, whether it be any other religion that has any form of governmental force adapted to it--connected to it, then, of course, we are against that. We believe that the United States can only be governed by the Constitution. As I said, I spent thirty years in Europe, I traveled around the world--I have seen and believe that the United States of America is the greatest country in the world. Why then this problem, Pastor Terry Jones, why this commotion you are causing in the world and in Florida? But for someone who calls himself a Pastor, someone who speaks in the name of Jesus--Jesus was a great messenger who asked his followers to embrace others--to love his enemies-- and I think someone who calls himself Pastor --I don't think you have moral grounds to burn the Koran, a divine book that respects and glorifies Jesus whom you speak in his name.. Reverend Rowe, let me bring you in here because there are zealots in every faith; he calls himself a Christian, so do you, you read the same Bible ; why the a difference in attitudes?
Well, I am here because I am not trying to defend violence anywhere on the part of the Christian Taliban or anybody else; I am here to say that what happened burning the Koran did not just burn the Koran, it burned the Sermon on the Mount, it burned every statement that Jesus made about loving enemies, about ... if you think people are your enemies, whether its Shari'ah law or whatever it is, the statement is very clear, "you have heard it said you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy but I say to you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." I don't happen to think that I have the same enemies you do, but if those are your enemies, the worst thing that happens here is that somebody might think that Christianity actually supports what you did. I am here to say that there is nothing in the Gospel that I read that that supports the burning of the Koran and, if you knew what was happening; given what happened on September 11th, you had to know there would be violence as a result of the burning; I think the blood is on your hands, for every ounce that was spilled, because if you knew that your act was gonna create violence, then the violence is your violence . A wonderful demonstration today: Jews Muslims, Christians joined hands together at the Mosque today. And yet there are many Americans who fear Islam and what it represents.
I believe they fear Islam because of people like Pastor Terry Jones who are working on their paranoia, who are making monster out of Islam. I would respectfully ask Pastor Terry Jones to go and read the Koran instead of burning the Koran and he would be amazed and surprised from the commonalities that exist between Islam and Christianity. The Problem is Pastor Jones has not read the Koran, he has no knowledge of the Koran therefore he is trying to make a monster out of the Koran and by that he is terrifying Americans from Islam and by telling them that Islam is the danger. Now no one is denying that there are radicals in Islam as there are radicals in Christianity; I consider him one of the radicals in Christianity. We have people like Timothy McVeigh who killed hundreds of innocent people in Oklahoma ten-fifteen years ago in the name of Jesus. We have people who committed all kinds of heinous crimes in the name of the church and in the name of Jesus, peace be upon him. Would I hold Christianity responsible for that? No! I am not going to do that because I understand in every faith there is a fringe group who use religion for their own interest and Islam is no exception. Why I would hold 1.5 billion Muslims responsible for the acts of a small fringe group that has been distorting Islam? But that does not mean Islam should be held responsible for them. We all agree that there are people who have hijacked Islam and gave it a bad name. So I would invite Pastor Jones to learn about the Koran, learn about Islam and be able to distinguish between those fringe groups who in no way would represent the mainstream of Islam; a divine faith that has so much to offer to this world and to humanity. The divine faith that speaks highly of Christianity and of Judaism. We in our religion believe that someone who does not believe in Jesus, who does not believe in Moses he can not claim to be Muslim, so in order to be a true Muslim you have to embrace Jesus and his message; you have to embrace Moses and his message and it seems that Pastor Jones does not get that. Now I want to go back to the Shari'ah law that he has been talking about. We ask him how does he define the Shari'ah law; he says that he thinks the Shari'ah law is the brutal punishment. Now what brutal punishment is he talking about? Is he speaking about the stoning? Now let me, for his reference, the stoning was referred to in the Bible, not in the Koran. Now, if he is talking about what the Taliban did in Afghanistan fifteen years ago, when they were stoning people: well, Taliban does not represent Islam, everyone knows that the Taliban rule does not represent the spirit of Islam. I am someone who numerous times condemned what Taliban did against people in Afghanistan and I said that these people are self-declared religious leaders who are not recognized by the mainstream of Islam, so he can not also hold Islam responsible for the act of Taliban in Afghanistan when they were stoning people. Here in America we have six million Muslims; I challenge pastor Jones if he can bring me one Muslim in the United States who would say that we have not abided by the U.S. laws. All these Muslims are abided by the U.S. laws, so let me ask him this, of course: there is a reference to the stoning in the Bible, does that mean the Christian in the United States now are calling for implementing stoning in the United States? This is, I think, the wrong analogy. So I believe that his understanding of the Shari'ah law is definitely distorted, he does not have accurate understanding of what he is telling people; what he is talking about. He can demonstrate against radical Islam, that's his right he can do that and he is entitled to do that but I also would like to ask him, as I always do when I talk about extremism and radicalism in other faiths, that I would condemn radicalism and extremism in my faith first so he has to do the same thing when he talks about radicals and he means to rally people against radical Islam, would he also do the same thing by rallying people against radical Christians? Would he tolerate those who go and blow up abortion clinics here, what he would call them? are these radicals; why would he not not speak out against them, why he chose to be silent about those radicals who call themselves Christians but he only chose to attack those who call themselves radicals in Islam. So I think this is a double standard and someone who calls himself Pastor and religious leader; he has to take the higher ground.
Let me ask both of you: what do you call someone who straps a bomb to himself to kill innocent people; do you call them martyrs or do you call them terrorists?
I call them murderer; the Koran that Pastor Jones burned three weeks ago calls these people murderer and the Koran is very clear that if you kill one innocent person you will be viewed by God as if you have killed the entire mankind. So of course, someone who kills innocent people is considered a murderer in the eyes of God. And by the way, I would like to take this opportunity to condemn the killings that took place in Afghanistan three weeks ago when Pastor Terry Jones burned the Koran. But I want to say one thing: When Pastor Terry Jones those who committed that crime and I unequivocally condemn that attack, it was carried out by lunatic Muslims, these people are not normal people, these people are lunatics, but who pushed them to do that; someone who calls himself Pastor, someone who calls himself religious leader, he pushed them to do that, so yes, I agree that his ...there is blood on his hands for pushing these lunatics to kill those innocent people at the United nations Headquarters in Afghanistan and I hold him also partially responsible for these killings. .

yeah, sure, since 9/11 theres been over seventeen thousand successful terrorist attacks. I mean to hold us responsible for what someone does seven thousand miles away is totally ridiculous. You can see that in our own American History, in our recent history we had the movement by Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. During that movement, many people were killed but nobody would say it was Reverend martin Luther King Jr.'s fault. The act of burning the Koran was a violent act; he can't duck that, the people who died died and he knew that that violence was going to happen. The subsequent riots were not caused by the trial & burning, they resulted from incendiary sermons at Jumah Salat. The rabble were roused to riot by their Imams, not by Pastor Jones.

Pastor Jones accurately described the Qur'an, the doctrines enshrined in it and the violence it incites. Muslims perceive insult because they are heavily invested in Islam. Islam is given to them as the ultimate in good: guidance to faith in Allah, peace, prosperity & justice. In reality, it is enslavement to Satan, a life of barren poverty and predation upon the human race.

No sane person who knows what Islam is and what Muslims are & do will welcome them here, regardless of their birthplace, citizenship or immigration status. Islam is a way of life, not a religion. The deen of Islam is couched in terms of religion in order to conceal its true nature. The "original religion" of Islam is jihad. Jihad is "war against non-Muslims".
Islam rejects man made laws including the Constitution. Only Allah's Shari'ah is acceptable to Islam. The Qur'an is their constitution; the hadith are their laws. That phrase offends me because it is supremely dishonest. Postulating the existence of a "radical element" assumes the existence of a "moderate" mainstream Islam opposed to "radicalism" or "extremism". Jihad is not radical, it is mainstream: "ordained for" Muslims though they "dislike it".
Terrorism is not "radical", it is mainstream. Allah said that he would "cast terror" and that he "cast terror" so that "a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives" Allah commanded Muslims to treat victims harshly so as to "strike terror" into future victims. he commanded Muslims to maximize the strength of their army to "terrify thereby" the enemies of Allah. define Shari'ah
Literally: "path to life giving waters". It is Islamic law, founded on Allah's permissions, prohibitions & imperatives in the Qur'an, exemplified by Moe's sunnah and extended by the consensus of the Ulema. The most widely accepted codification of Shari'ah is Reliance of the Traveller, a 1251 page volume which you can obtain from Amazon. In many aspects, it is the most detailed though Hedaya excells it in a few, such as rules related to sexual intercourse with slaves. Hedaya has been summarized in two volumes which can be obtained from Amazon or read on the web, but it is arcane, archaic and dense. I recommend reading the first two chapters of Volume II, Book IX. beginning with page 140 where you will see the rules of war confirmed and amplified. If you prefer shorter, easier to read books, turn to Risala, the Maliki school's fiqh.

There are a few things Muslims do not want you to know about how Moe received his inspiration & revelations. The Qur'an contains 113 surahs; Jesus is mentioned in 19 of them. Surah Al-Baqarah, the longest of surah, contains 286 ayat, of which #s 87, 156 & 253 mention Jesus.

The Muslim who does not go to war when called is going to Hell. "If you march not forth, He will punish you with a painful torment and will replace you by another people". Sahih Muslim17.4196 and the immediate context indicated that Moe practiced lapidation.

The accusation is a form of the argumentum tu-quoque fallacy; a diversion, not a defense. Nothing that any Christian has done in contravention of the teaching of Jesus subtracts anything from the intrinsic evil of Islam.

Imam Al-Qazwini provided a prime example of kitman: Islamic deception by obfuscation. He slyly refers to Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:32, obscuring 5:33 which prescribes punishments for 'waging war against Allah'. What is the meaning of "wage war against Allah"? For the answer, we must turn to Tafsir Ibn kathir: "`Wage war' mentioned here means, oppose and contradict, and it includes disbelief, blocking roads and spreading fear in the fairways."
If you do not believe in Allah, you are waging war against him: subject to decapitation, crucifixion, amputation or expulsion; you are not innocent. Only Muslims can be innocent.

Detonating a bomb in a crowd is a violent act. Shooting people is a violent act. Rioting is violent. Burning a book which is your own personal property, under controlled conditions is not a violent act. Pastor Jones did no harm in judging and destroying a Qur'an. There is no logical connection between that act and the riots incited by Imams in Afghanistan.
The outrageous hyperbole of Reverent Rowe serves to give Muslims a free pass for anything they do; a ready excuse. They can simply project their own evil intentions onto innocent, non-violent people.

Shari'ah means "path to the life giving waters", it is a guide to obedience of Allah and emulation of Moe. While much of it is arcane, such as the rules of ritual purity and prayer, it also governs matters with more direct application to temporal affairs. The laws concerning marriage, divorce, crime & punishments, and jihad are imposed upon non-Muslims where Allah's writ runs. Islamic law forbids charging or receiving interest. Shari'ah compliant commerce involves the proscription of all interest and all traffic with Israel. It also involves the payment of 2.5% Zakat on financial transactions as well as on increase in wealth. What most westerners don't know is that 1/8 of Zakat collections must be paid to the terrorists to finance their war against us. It is illegal to give Zakat to Kuffar.

It is obligatory to distribute one's zakat among eight categories of recipients (O: meaning that zakat goes to none besides them), one-eighth of the zakat to each category. The seventh category is those fighting for Allah, meaning people engaged in Islamic military operations for whom no salary has been allotted in the army roster (O: but who are volunteers for jihad without remuneration).They are given enough to suffice them for the operation, even if affluent; of weapons, mounts, clothing, and expenses (O: for the duration of the journey, round trip, and the time they spend there, even if prolonged. Though nothing has been mentioned here of the expense involved in supporting such people's families during this period, it seems clear that they should also be given it).

There are several schools of fiqh, while there is much common ground between them, there are sectarian differences, which one of the texts explains in some detail. Hedaya, the Hanifi school's handbook of fiqh, is dense, arcane & printed in an archaic type face but it clarifies some vital issues including the offensive nature of jihad an extortionate nature of juzya. Hedaya also includes explanation of the differences with the Shafi'i school's Reliance. Hedaya's four volumes have been compressed into two which are available from Amazon, Google Books and the internet archive in a viewr and pdf format. Vol. II contains the important fiqh of jihad in Book IX. Whenver a politician, preacher, journalist, blogger or commentator asserts:
"Islam is a great religion of peace."
"Islam only fights in self defense."
'The jihad imperatives only apply to times of war."
and similar malignant malarkey, you should turn to Reliance, hedaya & Risala to reconnect with the truth.
Book O, Chapter 9 of Reliance defines jihad as "war against non-Muslims", the obligation to perform it as "communal" and the caliph's enforcement of that obligation as "the caliph makes war against Jews, Christians and Zoroastrians until..." & "the caliph fights all other peoples until..." . The religious obligation to attack non-Muslims while they are at home in their own countries, minding their own affairs is binding upon Muslims "in every year". Book IX, Chapter I of Hedaya, Volume II informs us that "destruction of the sword is incurred by infidels though they be not the first aggressors". Cg, II delves into Jizya, informing us that it is in lieu of destruction; a form of punishment for infidelity. Chapter 30 of Risala confirms the definition of jihad and the duty of dawa which proceeds the conquest. "And it is preferable, according to us, that the enemy are not fought until they have been invited to the din of Allah except if they attack first." "30.2c. Offering a choice between Islam and jizya They can either accept Islam or pay the jizya (tax on non-Muslims); if not they are to be fought." Muslims, treasonous politicians, clergy who have sold their souls to Satan and corrupt & intimidated journalists spew egregious lies about Islam secure in the knowledge that most listeners lack the means and the will to discover the truth for themselves. You now have the means to discover the truth for yourself. Will you make good use of that opportunity or will you stick your head back into the sand?

Divine mandate
The divine mandate to enforce the wrath of Allah in this life by punishing infidels is found in the Qur'an. in Surah At-Taubah 2, Allah tells the pagans of Mecca that they can not escape. The translators insert an explanation in parenthesis.
9:2. So travel freely (O Mushrikûn - see V.2:105) for four months (as you will) throughout the land, but know that you cannot escape(from the Punishment of) Allâh, and Allâh will disgrace the disbelievers.
Allah then commands the Muslims to wage war against the pagans of Mecca to punish and disgrace them.
9:14. Fight against them so that Allâh will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people,
Spencer cites Surah At-Taubah 29 which commands Muslims to wage war against "people of the Book".
9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
Full comprehension of that verse requires reference to its antecedent in Surah Al-Anfal, (The Spoils) which commands perpetual warfare against pagans & atheists until only Allah is worshiped on a global scale. These are outcome oriented, open ended loops conditioned on predetermined outcomes: cessation of resistance, monopoly of faith & practice and extortion & submission.
8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.
These conquest imperatives are codified in Book O, Chapter 9.8&9 of Reliance of the Traveller, which you can purchase from Amazon. "The caliph makes war on Jews...", "the caliph fights all other peoples until they become Muslim". These are offensive, not defensive wars. For the proof of this fact, click the link to Book O9.8 above and scroll up to O9.1. The Muslims must attack passive kuffar who are at home, minding their own affairs at least once in every year. For the remaining doubters, Hedaya, the codification according to the Hanifi school, declares that "Destruction of the sword is incurred by infidels though they be not the first aggressors".

Full comprehension of this issue requires reading one hadith which was bowdlerized by Khan , the context of Surah Al-Imran 110 and the hadith which explains it.
Bukhari Ch 61 # 2756: ...It is mentioned from Ibn 'Umar from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "My provision has been placed under the shadow of my spear, and abasement and humility have been placed on the one who disobeys my command.3:110. You [true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fâsiqûn (disobedient to Allâh - and rebellious against Allâh's Command). 3:111. They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; and if they fight against you, they will show you their backs, and they will not be helped. 3:112. Indignity is put over them wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allâh, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allâh, and destruction is put over them. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allâh) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allâh's disobedience, crimes and sins). Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 80:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Verse:--"You (true Muslims) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind." means, the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam.
In Hedaya, we learn that jizya is in liew of 'destruction'. We also learn that it is to be collected in a humiliating and degrading manner, although Shafi'i disagrees.
restrictions
Many of the restrictions on conquered Jews & Christians are found in the Pact of Umar. The prohibition on building churches and public manifestation of religion, are codified in Reliance O11.5.
Islam must be dominant. To comprehend this fact, turn to Surah At-Taubah 33 & Sahih Bukhari 4.52.65. The political aspect of Shari'ah is found in Reliance O.25 (the Caliphate). In O22.1, we discover that judges must be Muslims. In O25.3 we learn that authority is for Muslims only. That rule is not limited to the caliphate, it drills down into the family. Muslimas are prohibited from marrying kuffar because religion is passed down patrilineally. If a Muslim woman marries a Christian, her children will be Christians, not Muslims. When a Muslim marries a kuffar and divorces her, she can not obtain custody of her children because kuffar have no right to authority, as stated in . M13.2{c}.

The concept comes from Surah Al-Hashr 2. Full comprehension requires reference to Surah Alanfal 57-
59:2. He it is Who drove out the disbelievers among the people of the Scripture (i.e. the Jews of the tribe of Banî An-Nadîr) from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think that they would get out. And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allâh! But Allâh's (Torment) reached them from a place whereof they expected it not, and He cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their own dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Then take admonition, O you with eyes (to see). 8:57. So if you gain the mastery over them in war, punish them severely in order to disperse those who are behind them, so that they may learn a lesson.
Other translators include the concept of striking terror in 8:57. Muslims are commanded to treat their victims harshly so as to terrorize prospective victims.

Moe confirmed the jihad imperative, as recorded in sever hadith. This one stands out for its clarity: we are the targets, its open season on us and we have no rights until we become Muslims.
Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387: Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, "O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have."

Reliance of the Traveller O8.7 lists twenty acts which entail apostasy, subjecting the apostate to execution. Reviling Allah, Moe or Islam gets a Muslim decapitated as does any expression of doubt or denial of Allah's existence and wonderful character. This law is imposed upon dhimmis in O11.10-5: Saying anything impermissible about Islam. its deity or profit gets a dhimmi killed.
Slander (ghiba) means to mention anything concerning a person that he would dislike, whether about his body, religion, everyday life, self, disposition, property, son, father, wife, servant, turban, garment, gait, movements, smiling, dissoluteness, frowning, cheerfulness, or anything else connected with him.
Mention means by word, writing, sign, or indicating him with one's eye, hand, head, and so forth.Body refers to saying such things as that someone is blind, lame, bleary-eyed, bald, short, tall, dark, or pale.
Religion includes saying that he is corrupt, a thief, cannot be trusted, is a tyrant, does not care about the prayer, does not watch to avoid filth, does not honor his father, does not spend zakat on what it should be spent on, or does not avoid slandering others.

The devil is in the details. I highlighted a key phrase and clauses in the title; the evils they conceal while including by reference make the resolution unacceptable. The bureaucrats redefined racism: it no longer simply denotes irrational and invidious hatred of dark shinned people; it now connotes rational and well founded opposition to Islam. Racism is explicitly redefined to include 'Islamophobia' in a preliminary report created in the preparatory stages of the second Durban Conference.
Re-read that quotation with special attention to the highlighted words and phrases. There is nothing racial about opposition to Islam. There are Black, White and Asian Muslims; Islam is not a race. Islam is an ideology, system of laws and military force to spread and establish it. 'Related intolerance', included in the boiler plate of numerous resolutions, translates to 'Islamophobia'. The global effort is to eliminate 'Islamophobia'. Its intent is to criminalize and punish rejection of and opposition to Islam. The phrase "comprehensive implementation of" in the third line of the title applies to the Durban Declaration. Who is familiar with its contents? Here is a clear demand for the enactment & enforcement of legislation to criminalize the formation of anti-Islamic political parties.

Calls upon States, in opposing all forms of racism, to recognize the need to counter anti-Semitism, anti-Arabism and Islamophobia world-wide, and urges all States to take effective measures to prevent the emergence of movements based on racism and discriminatory ideas concerning these communities;
The Durban Declaration also demands that we not scrutinize those most likely to engage in terrorism. The perpetrators of the Accursed Abomination were young Muslim males, not little old ladies.

Urges States to design, implement and enforce effective measures to eliminate the phenomenon popularly known as “racial profiling” and comprising the practice of police and other law enforcement officers relying, to any degree, on race, colour, descent or national or ethnic origin as the basis for subjecting persons to investigatory activities or for determining whether an individual is engaged in criminal activity;
The Durban Declaration also demands censorship, including of the internet.

Urges States to implement legal sanctions, in accordance with relevant international human rights law, in respect of incitement to racial hatred through new information and communications technologies, including the Internet, and further urges them to apply all relevant human rights instruments to which they are parties, in particular the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, to racism on the Internet; 146. Urges States to encourage the media to avoid stereotyping based on racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance; 147. Calls upon States to consider the following, taking fully into account existing international and regional standards on freedom of expression, while taking all necessary measures to guarantee the right to freedom of opinion and expression: (a) Encouraging Internet service providers to establish and disseminate specific voluntary codes of conduct and self-regulatory measures against the dissemination of racist messages and those that result in racial discrimination, xenophobia or any form of intolerance and discrimination; to that end, Internet providers are encouraged to set up mediating bodies at national and international levels, involving relevant civil society institutions; (b) Adopting and applying, to the extent possible, appropriate legislation for prosecuting those responsible for incitement to racial hatred or violence through the new information and communications technologies, including the Internet;
What is the meaning of incitement to racial hatred or violence? How are those terms evaluated in the real world? According to Ban Ki-moon, they include exposing the nexus between Islamic doctrines expressed in Islamic scripture & tradition and Islamic violence in terrorism & rioting.
Reuters quotes U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon about Fitna:"There is no justification for hate speech or incitement to violence," Ban said in a statement. "The right of free expression is not at stake here."
The Secretary General explicitly said that Geert Wilders had no right to utter & publish Fitna, which displayed Islamic doctrines of jihad beside video of rabble rousing sermons and pictures of the resulting havoc. Recognizes that States should implement and enforce appropriate and effective legislative, judicial, regulatory and administrative measures to prevent and protect against acts of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, thereby contributing to the prevention of human rights violations;
¶ 11 on page 4 is very clear.
11. Reaffirms that any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence shall be prohibited by law, and also reaffirms that the dissemination of ideas based on racial superiority or hatred, or incitement to racial discrimination, as well as all acts of violence or incitement to such acts, shall be declared offences punishable by law, in accordance with the international obligations of States, and that those prohibitions are consistent with freedom of opinion and expression;
The Secy'. Gen'l. labeled Fitna hate speech & incitementnot protected by the right of freedom of expression. Take a clear eyed look at the last sentence in ¶ 11 above. It says that prohibitions on advocacy of religious hatred are consistent with freedom of expression. Fitna is an exposure of religious hatred, it is not advocacy of hatred! The enemies of liberty invert facts, law and morality. There is no truth or virtue in them.
14. Calls upon all States, in accordance with the commitments undertaken in paragraph 147 of the Durban Programme of Action, to take all measures necessary to combat incitement to violence motivated by racial hatred, including through the misuse of print, audiovisual and electronic media and new communications technologies, and, in collaboration with service providers, to promote the use of such technologies, including the Internet, to contribute to the fight against racism, in conformity with international standards of freedom of expression and taking all measures necessary to guarantee that right;
¶ 15 demands that we convert our schools into Islamic indoctrination centers; inculcating tolerance of intolerable evil. .
15. Encourages all States to include in their educational curricula and social programmes at all levels, as appropriate, knowledge of and tolerance and respect for all cultures, civilizations, religions, peoples and countries, as well as information on the follow-up to and implementation of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action;
The resolution also alludes to an ad hoc committee of the HRC, without revealing its mandate.

So, "defamation of religions" does not appear in the text; exactly what difference does that make? The resolution contains effective substitutes with the same essential meaning.
The tactic is semantic deflection: instead of condemning and urging criminalization of "defamation of Islam", the boiler plate from HRC RES 16/18 switches the focus to "denigration and negative religious stereotyping of persons" & "incitement to religious hatred".
The irrefutable fact presented in the previous paragraph is not defamatory because it is true and easily verifiable. But the statement: "Terrorism is an intrinsic sacrament of Islam", stereotypes all Muslims as potential terrorists, which, in fact they are. Muslims are commanded to obey Allah and Muhammad. Muslims are commanded to emulate Muhammad, who was "made victorious with terror".
Is truth a defense against accusation of "negative stereotyping"? The Motoons, Fitna and this blog post could as easily be proscribed on the basis of "negative stereotyping" as "defamation of Islam".

Indignity is put over them wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allâh, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allâh, and destruction is put over them. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allâh) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allâh's disobedience, crimes and sins).
The Verse:--"You (true Muslims) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind." means, the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam.
98:6. Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur'ân and Prophet Muhammad ()) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell.They are the worst of creatures.
Where Allah's writ runs, such as Egypt, Indonesia & Nigeria, Muslims destroy Christian's property and murder them with impunity. What makes any fool believe that the new resolutions will be enforced against those guilty of rioting & murder? They will only be enforced against those of us who expose the intrinsic evil of Islam.

To be credible and effective, the strategy of deterrence must be capable of striking terror into the hearts of the enemy.
